crazy day

We had a very crazy day today. I will post about it later. Maybe tomorrow...or maybe some of it now...
Well the vet was coming out to give Cassie her shots this morning at 10 and I was to have a riding lesson at 1.... i'll post about it when I have time.

IDK what to say! I know it's been a while but we have been busy.
I did find out that Quarter Horses and Paint Horses are awesome! With the right training and breeding that can do so many things! That can do: barrel racing, pole bending, roping, versatilty ranch work, cutting, working cows, reining, trail, team penning, western pleasure, english pleasure, dressage, eventing, show jumping, hunter(jumper), halter and more(im sure)!! Oh, I am not sure if they still do it, but some of them raced in Quarter Horse races. And they are sooooo pretty!!! You people really need to read about them! Oh, and they come in alot of cool colors!

Why doesn't anyone comment on my blog anymore ?HUH?? lol

The Show!!!!!

Sorry about not posting for a few days!! We have been pretty busy. Well, the how went very well!!! In my first class which was a walk/trot equitation. I got first in that class. My second class was cross rails. I got first in that too. My third and last real class was a walk/trot/canter equitation. I got sixth..well, last... but the ribbon is a pretty green! And my very last class was the costume class... I got third out of five entries!!!

fun day

Okay well, it's still the day before the show and Cassie is at Mrs. Corrie's. Me and a girl named Ellie(well, Elizabeth) rode in a little bit of rain. We jumped a cross rail that was about 18", and another jump that was a vertical that was close to 2'. After that we awshed the horses and fed them and there you go! Oh we put all of our tack(saddles, bridles, ect)in the trailer. Now I am about to eat and take a shower and(I guess) go to bed..
Oh well. I'll try to post tomorrow!

It's tomorrow!!!

The show is tomorrow!!! I have a riding lesson today then Cassie is going to spend the night at my riding instructor's barn because she is taking her to the show and we have to be there really early. Like I HAVE TO BE ON CASSIE AT 7:30AM!!!!!!!!!! Wow huh?! We are going to take pictures and I will post them maybe tomorrow but maybe Sunday.. I'll just have to see..


Oh and please pray for me!! This is my second horse show ever and so far I am a little more nervous than I was in June!

Camping

Last night me and my friend Kimberly slept in one of our tents...it was fun..and a long story. Well after we got the tent put up and all of our stuff put in it we got Lady and got in the tent... well, we have two Calico cats, Missy and Maisy. Once we were in the tent I was reading and Kimberly was playing my nintendo DS all of a sudden Missy jumps on the side of the tent!!!!! I think we screamed and jumped! Later Maisy started to paw at us from the outside of the tent.. even later, Kimberly started to sneeze and stuff so she moved to the other end of her bed and the cats started to attack her head from the OUTSIDE OF THE TENT!!! I sooo wish I could have taken pictures... Oh well, maybe next time!

The show

The horse show is next weekend!!!! I can't wait!!! Yesterday I went to the new Dover Saddlery and I got some new boots and a new saddle pad. I will post pictures sometime... if I can remember!!! My costume still has to be made for the costume class and.. and ... I don't know! I just can't wait!!! I will post again when I have more time!

another show

I have another horse show on the 18th of this month!!! If you want to come somehow let me know and I'll give you the time and address. I am going to enter three classes. One flat class, one jumping class, and a costume class. For the costume class I am going to be an Indian and Cassie is going to be my war horse or something.
If you have any ideas for that let me know.

I guess I'm back!

It's been soooo long since I have blogged!! So I guess I need to catch up on blogging! So here is some of the stuff that has been going on.

I started taking guitar lessons and I think I just had my 12th or 13th lesson and I am learning Bar Chords, finger pickin', new chords and more songs.

Now I have to make up my mine about somthing.. It's a horse show or a middle school retreat....
The show has a class called a costume class and that is where you AND your horse dress up!
And this would be my last year for Freedom Weekend (the retreat) because I will be in 9th grade next year!!! High school! :p

bye bye bunny

Today i gave my rabbit, Sampson, away...to a good home. I think she said she/they have like 5 indoor cats and maybe 3 dogs.. wow..! I almost cried but I know he needed a new home. I mean, I was going to have to give him away sometime anyway. Like if we were to move to the loft we all really liked there would not be a yard or a porch/deck to put him on.. a rabbit INSIDE would be stinky! But another good thing is she said we could visit Sampson anytime.

Funny stuff

Last night in my devotion book there was some very funny stuff but you have to be in the right mood to think it's funny.

"The following announcements were found in church bulletins."

- Miss Charlene Mason sang "I Will Not Pass This Way Again," giving much pleasure to the congregation.

- Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of those things not worth keeping around the house. Don't forget your husbands.

- The sermon this morning: "Jesus Walks on the Water."

- The sermon tonight: "Searching for Jesus."

- For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nersery downstairs.

- Potluck supper Sunday at 5 p.m. Prayer and medication to follow.

How I get Angie (my old horse)

I think it was novenber 10th 2005 when I was at my grandparents house with my mom and my brothers. I woke up on the last day we were staying there and my grandfather asked if I wanted to go look at horses, and I said yes. So me, my mom, my grandfather, and my uncle loaded up and left. Well we went to one place and she did not have any horses for sale, but she told us of a place where that had and older Thoroughbred mare for sale and gave us the number, so we called and set up a time to go see her. While we were waiting for the time to go by, we went to look at another horse, but the owners were not home so we left. About an hour later we headed over to see the Thoroughbred mare. When we got there they got her out and the girl who owned her hopped on her (bareback with a halter). She was 200-300 pounds under weight! And she was not the prettiest horse in the world, just I had to save her! So I rode her (bareback with a halter). I liked her (and had to save her)......so we get her, and paied $600.00 for her and a little western saddle. She was really mine. I cried. Not because I was sad, but because she was mine. I really had my own horse. I had wanted one for a long time, and I finally had one.
I did not get her because she was the best riding horse, or because she was the prettiest horse, but because I had to save her.

Here is my new horse, Cassie! She is a 10 yr. old chestnut colored paint, a very sweet girl! It is really cool to see how God worked this out and in the process grew my faith! Thank you God!!
